Hayley Knapp, PMHNP-BC
Hayley is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a deep commitment to holistic mental health care. Her clinical experience spans a variety of settings including inpatient and residential pediatric psychiatric hospitals; dementia and behavioral health programs in long-term care facilities; and outpatient private practice with both children and adults.
About Hayley
Hayley is passionate about offering individualized, integrative care that includes psychotherapy, medication management, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. She is trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), an innovative and evidence-based approach to healing trauma, depression, anxiety, and other treatment-resistant conditions. Unlike models where the provider steps in only for brief portions of the experience, Hayley remains present with patients throughout the entire KAP session—guiding them through the preparatory, experiential, and integration phases. This intentional, one-on-one approach ensures safety, deep connection, and space for meaning-making, which are vital to the healing process.

Grounded in the belief that every person has an innate need to be seen, heard, and validated, Hayley’s practice is rooted in compassion. She provides a safe, affirming space for individuals to make sense of their stories and find support on their path to healing.

In addition to her clinical training, Hayley is a certified yoga instructor and brings a mind-body perspective to her work. She understands the powerful role that movement and breath can play in regulating the nervous system, healing from trauma, and restoring overall well-being. Whether through mindful movement, body-based therapy, or somatic awareness practices, she often integrates these tools to support emotional balance.

Hayley approaches psychopharmacology with care, using medication as one tool to restore brain balance when appropriate, while emphasizing that therapy remains essential to long-term mental wellness. She invests time in building therapeutic relationships, educating patients about their diagnoses, and empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

Outside of her work, Hayley loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, hiking, running, practicing yoga, cooking, painting, and tending (sometimes successfully!) to her growing collection of plants.
